Our Efforts

Problems Observed

Although Cameroon has made school free for all students, there are still a number of expensive fees that students cannot afford. This causes students to struggle with attending school since them and their families cannot afford it. Furthermore, the UN Committee has found many problems within Cameroon’s education system. These problems are major, such as limited access to formal and vocational education for children with disabilities. There is also a high dropout rate in Cameroon because children fall behind in their education. There are also social inequalities that hold back women from attending school and receiving an education. School registration is low in the northern region of Cameroon. This profusion of issues within Cameroon’s education system is a major obstacle that can be combated gradually.
